Behavioral Technical Coding

It started with a phone call from HR, then I had to do a take-home assignment using R or Python. After that, there was a virtual assignment in Excel. The last step was an in-person technical screen where they asked SQL questions, and then a behavioral interview with the management team. The whole thing took about 3 to 4 weeks.

Behavioral Technical Coding Case

Interviewed last September. Started with a 30 minute phone call, asked to talk about a project I've worked on in English. Then a home assignment, mostly SQL and analytical approach questions. Then a technical interview, asked to manipulate data using Python/R or other language. Also some flow questions. Finally, 3 interviews (TL -> VP -> HR), mostly personal but sometimes semi-technical. Overall experience was good, Riskified tries to be transparent with candidates. Been working there for a few months and the interview questions fit the job.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Need to know how to work with dataframes, move things around, manipulate data, etc.
  • Also some flow related questions were asked.
  • I would personally dig a bit deeper into Riskified's products and try to understand their model prior to the interview, that help.
