Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Riskified.
Business Developer
The interview process was alright, but they were a bit all over the place. They initially wanted a junior person, then by the third round, they said they were actually interviewing for a senior role. It felt like they weren't sure what they were looking for.
- Questions related to interpreting data.
- Put together a consulting review for the company.
- Participate in a mock business development call with a made-up client.
Business Development Manager
The interview process is quite long but generally aligns with industry norms. The team is pleasant and professional. However, there's a lack of detailed feedback after each stage regarding performance. Some questions were excessively specific to the company's products or solutions, making them difficult to answer without prior experience working there. During the case interview, several questions were too focused on product or solution details, requiring hands-on experience with the product, which isn't ideal for an interview setting.
- Could you explain how Riskified compares to company X?
Business Development Manager
The whole process felt pretty long. It started with HR, then a chat with the team leader where I also had to do a task on the spot. After that, there was a home task, and then I had to present that home task to another team leader and the director of the department. Most of the interviews followed the same pattern: talk about Riskified, go through my CV, explain why I want to join Riskified, share an example of my BD experience, and how I'd handle client objections.
- How would you present the Riskified solution to different roles (C-level, fraud manager, e-commerce director) and what objections might they raise?
