Applied online, passed the aptitude test, then a phone interview, and after that, two more in-person interviews at the office in Chicago. There was a scheduling mix-up for my second interview where they thought I was coming in the week before. I waited an hour for them to find someone to interview me, and I had to cut my interview short by 30 minutes because my train was leaving soon (I came from Michigan). I never heard back from them. I paid for all my own travel expenses. I was disappointed about the schedule mix up and never hearing back. I know I didn't schedule the second interview the week before because I knew I'd be out of town that week.

I got hooked up with Rise Interactive via a friend. I sent my resume and HR got back to me super fast, like within a day. First up, I had to take a skills test that was all math and algebra stuff related to internet marketing, with multiple choice and fill-in-the-blanks. You get two tries, and man, it was tough since I hadn't done much algebra in a while. Turns out, only about 20% pass it, so definitely get ready for that. After I aced the test, I had a quick 30-minute phone chat. It was pretty chill and conversational, but they said to be ready for questions like you'd get at a big consulting or finance place because Rise does similar things. Then, I was invited to the office for four interviews total. I met with HR and then some managers and even an exec. They hit me with some challenging questions about the business and how I think. Expect questions about logic and processes. Make sure you're solid on your own experience too – be able to go through your resume and detail your client accomplishments, even if you're fresh out of college with just restaurant or intern experience. Do your homework on Rise's business too. But honestly, just be yourself and show them you're looking for a good fit for you as well, not just trying to fit what they need. I heard back with an offer in three days after my last interview. Overall, I felt good about how it all went down.
