Project Manager
My friend who got hired mentioned that there are only two interview stages: the initial one and the final one. I passed the first one, but I didn't make it through the interview with the hiring manager. The questions were pretty much the same as in the initial interview, but the interviewer was quite intimidating. If you're feeling under the weather and haven't slept because it's going to be after midnight or before dawn, you're doomed. I knew the answers, but the atmosphere messed with my emotions, and my anxiety/fear of not making it got in the way. If you pass, you'll probably get a call back immediately. If the feedback takes too long, it's time to accept that you didn't pass, or if you want closure, follow up with the recruiter.

Project Manager
This hiring process seems a bit of a scam just to boost their Glip numbers, and honestly, it's a waste of time. Here’s what they do: First, you apply and submit your stuff. Then, you get an automated email telling you to download their Glip app. The next day, it looks like a recruiter emails you (spoiler: it’s not a real recruiter) saying to download the Glip app and message them directly for interview stuff. Once you download and message, they want you to book a 15-min call with the 'recruiter' to make sure “you’re comfortable with their system”. During the call, the recruiter just reads a script, basically checking if you downloaded the app and saying they’ll contact you via Glip if you’re a good fit. Seriously? People’s time could’ve been saved with a simple email.
- Do you know how to use zoom?
- Were you able to download the Glip app?
Project Manager
The interview process was great. It started with an initial phone call that went well. They really wanted to understand my abilities. After that, I met with several people I'd be working with directly, which gave me a good sense of the team and the role. I spoke with managers at different levels all the way down to the developers.
- Can you outline your 90-day plan?
