A recruiter from the UK contacted me on LinkedIn a week before Christmas 2018 about a 100% remote Senior Support Engineer role for Oracle EBS. My initial interest was met with slow responses, and after the New Year, the recruiter revealed the role wasn't officially approved yet. A screening call finally happened on January 7, 2019, followed by a technical interview with the UK hiring manager scheduled for the next day. However, this turned out to be a get-to-know-you call and an explanation of how RS works. The actual technical interview, involving the UK hiring manager and an Australian-based Indian support engineer, took place on January 10. I felt the Indian engineer was trying to show off, jumping between modules instead of focusing on my area of expertise, and his questions were unclear. This was disappointing given my extensive experience. The same evening, the UK hiring manager conveyed that while they recognized my application knowledge, they questioned if it was the right role for me and suggested future consideration. I requested time to consider other options, but after three weeks, I hadn't heard back. The recruiter then informed me two weeks later that the team decided not to proceed. My attempts to follow up with the recruiter have also been unsuccessful, indicating slow and unprofessional recruitment at RS.

The interview process was quick and easy to navigate. I first spoke with a recruiter, then had a technical interview with a group of engineers, contractors, and a senior manager. After that, I interviewed with the VP. The technical part wasn't too hard.

The interview process was great, it only took a few days and was pretty easy. As soon as I sent my resume I was contacted quickly on the same day. The questions were objective and simple, only experience questions were asked. From the interviews to the hiring, the interviewer was always helpful in answering my questions.
