Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ricoh.
Service Technician
It was a 2-person interview, and the interviewers were easy to talk to. The interview included competency-based questions like asking about a time I disassembled and reassembled something.
- Tell me about a time you had to work under pressure.
Field Service Technician
The interview process was good and easy, and the management team is very nice. They are willing to work with you and discuss your past work history. They asked about your time management skills and how you set schedules. It's a great opportunity for new technicians in the field.
- How do you handle scheduling your own work?
- How are you with setting your schedule?
Repair Technician
After making me wait in the lobby for almost an hour without an apology, they put me in a really low chair across from the interviewer. The person interviewing me was arrogant and condescending. They asked a lot of questions, and I really wish I could have just canceled the interview halfway through. Later, I found out from an ex-employee that they weren't good people and that he got stuck with all the worst tasks while some guys just sat around doing next to nothing. So, good riddance.
- Why do you think you are the best candidate for this position?
- Would you be willing to do whatever is asked of you without complaint?
