Operations Manager
The interview process was extensive, with seven interviews involving various senior leaders. Each interviewer seemed to have their own approach, as there wasn't a consistent interviewing method or guide used. The questions were mostly behavioral and performance-based, focusing on the 'how' behind specific achievements. These interviews were mainly one-on-one, with no panel or group settings.
- Could you describe a time you made an error?
Supervisor
The hiring process took about 3 months. I first filled out an application, then waited a month to hear back. After that, I had a drug test and background check, and then waited another month to hear back before finally getting an interview. The interview was face-to-face. I waited a few more weeks with no word, so I called them to let them know I had another job offer and needed a decision. That's when they told me they wanted to meet to make me an offer.
- Are you familiar with this industry?
Area Manager
The first step was a screener with no company details. After that, there was a test with complex algebra problems that didn't relate to business at all. The initial screener didn't even have the hiring manager's name. From there, we moved pretty fast into testing.
- Can you tell me why you're looking to leave your current job?
- What was your previous salary?
- Did you leave your last role on good terms?
