I saw a help wanted sign at Ricky's Costume Superstore and got an application. I filled it out and gave it to the manager, who quickly gave it back with info about group interviews happening Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I went to the Friday one. About fifty other people were there. We each had to introduce ourselves, state a strength, a weakness, and something learned from our last job. This took about two and a half hours total. Afterwards, the interviewer asked about ten of us to stay behind to confirm some details, like our availability, which we'd already written down. Then she told us we got the job. We found out our location and start time at orientation the following week, and our specific hours were set once we got to our assigned store.

They email you for an interview, and when you step in, it's a room filled with chairs aligned in rows. Before the interview process starts, they ask you to fill out an application. During the interview, they asked questions and we all took turns answering. After that, they collected ALL of our applications and said they were going to check our references. According to the other reviews, no one was asked to stay behind so I guess no one got hired that day LOL.

I applied and got a call from HR for a group interview. We went around and they asked basic stuff like why I want to work there and about my strengths and weaknesses. The next day, I got a call for a one-on-one where they hired me after asking a few more questions. It was pretty easy, just need to be presentable, well-spoken, and show you're genuinely interested in working there.
