First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ribbon Home.
Recruiter
The interview process was really smooth and upfront. It took about a month from when I applied to when I got the offer. They let me know about what was next pretty quickly after each stage, or within a couple of business days, and then I had a few days to set up the next interview. Before each interview, they also told me what topics would be covered and who I'd be meeting with. You could tell everyone was working together well across teams and that the interviewers actually collaborated. I felt like they valued my time and kept me in the loop the whole way.
- Can you describe the technical roles you've recruited for and how you've succeeded in filling difficult positions?
- What are your teammates' descriptions of you during your best and worst times?
Senior Technical Recruiter
It began with a chat with a recruiter, then a few interview rounds, some one-on-one, others with two recruiters. A key stakeholder/hiring manager was part of one interview, which was great as they'd be a main partner. Right away, the team's culture felt really strong, especially in the paired interviews where they seemed close and didn't take themselves too seriously. Everyone from the talent team was amazing – super welcoming and accommodating, some of the best interviews I've had. The interviews weren't super tough, except for the one with the hiring manager; maybe they weren't sure what to expect from someone outside their area. Still, their evaluation process is fair and fast, and they gave feedback proactively. Everyone was really nice to talk to, and the offer was very competitive for a new company. I chose another job because the product resonated more with me personally, but Ribbon seemed like a great place with smart, driven, and genuinely likable people.
- Can you share some standard behavioral questions relevant to a senior technical recruiter role?
Recruiting Coordinator
The interview process was short. The interviewer was super friendly and enthusiastic about the company. Started off with an initial thirty-minute phone call. She also stated over the phone that she would like to move forward with the 2nd step of the interview process but then sent a rejection letter two days later.
- Can you describe your experience with scheduling?
