I applied through Linkedin and had a 30-minute phone call with the director of product management. The recruiter was really nice and helpful. The whole process was quite simple.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

It started with a recruiter screening, pretty basic stuff, mostly yes/no questions. Then I had a chat with the hiring manager. He asked why I was interested in the money transfer space, acknowledging the regulatory challenges. Based on my response, he gave me a 90-minute challenge. It had three parts: product design, feature prioritization and implementation, and two ML questions about data analysis and evaluating ML approaches. It felt demanding for someone with just a year of experience, but the interviewer was really supportive. I think this role is great for developing future-proof skills, and I enjoyed the interview style.

Behavioral Technical

I had a recruiter reach out for an initial phone screen. Then, I had a phone interview with the Hiring Manager, who is a VP. It was a good chat; they described the role, what's expected, and the key requirements. The vibe was good, and overall, it went well. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview, which consisted of three back-to-back 1-on-1 interviews, each lasting 60-90 minutes. I met with a C-level executive, the Hiring Manager, and a peer. These interviews were all friendly, with a good exchange of information, and I was excited about the next steps. The two executives were experienced interviewers and made me feel comfortable while still assessing me thoroughly. The peer focused more on general Product Management questions. After about 3.5 hours of interviews, the recruiter said I'd hear back soon. By the end of the week, they extended an offer.
