The interview followed standard questions as found in books. I didn't feel like my CV or LinkedIn profile were reviewed. There was no dynamic in the conversation. It seemed like Rheinmetall themselves weren't sure what they were looking for.

The interview process involved two meetings. The first was a video call with one recruiter and two department members. The second meeting took place on-site with one recruiter and one senior department member. During the interviews, everyone introduced themselves. We discussed my resume, my reasons for wanting to join Rheinmetall, my strengths and weaknesses, and how I handle stress. The role, company structure, and expected tasks were explained. The conversations were very relaxed, felt more like a chat than an exam, and were manageable even without coaching.

A month before the interview, I was given a development task by Rheinmetall to complete. On the day of the interview, the HR representative first presented the company, its structure, business areas, and products. Afterwards, I had the chance to introduce myself, answer some interview questions focusing on my personal background and my stance on weapons, and present my solution to the given task.
