The interview process moved pretty quickly. First, I spoke with the RGP manager. Then, I had a discussion with the client team. After that, HR talked about salary, and I got the offer pretty soon after.

Recruiter reached out to me based on my LinkedIn profile. She scheduled a brief 10-minute call to discuss her requirements. I initially felt it wasn't a good fit, but she pushed back, suggesting I didn't fully grasp the role. We then had a longer Zoom call where she elaborated on the position. I found the recruiter's demeanor to be condescending and snarky throughout the interaction. When I brought up my past experience advising several major company CFOs, she dismissively asked if I had anything more relevant to share. It was a very negative experience; I'd advise others to avoid it.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a phone screen, and then I had a 1:1 interview with 2 different people. The interviewers were polished and well prepared. The interview started with a general industry perspective, then we dove into the position details. My background was a strong match for this particular role, so the in person interview went from a scheduled hour to 2.5 hours. Keep in mind that bench time is unpaid, so you must be willing to take that financial risk in between projects.
