Behavioral Technical Presentation

This hiring process spanned three weeks and included tests, additional email correspondence, and approximately three interview rounds. The final interview was a Zoom call where the interviewers appeared unprofessional and unprepared. They showed no interest in understanding me or my responses, seeming to just go through the motions. Despite instructions to dress business professional, both interviewers wore polos. They mentioned that success in this role depends on peer perception. Ultimately, my time felt wasted as I was overqualified for this entry-level position. I'd advise avoiding this role if you have prior professional experience.

Applied online with resume and a quick form. Got invited to fill out a more standard corporate application with resume details and some initial questions. Had to complete a Wonderlic Pre-employment assessment, which included knowledge questions (like vocabulary) and preference questions ('what do you find more appealing'). It was strange that the recruiting coordinator sent this and then said it needed management approval - I thought that was the coordinator's job. Found some requirements unusual, like a strict no tobacco policy, and many questions about assisting disabled or mentally incapacitated individuals. Was rejected by management a few days later. It felt like they prioritized a very specific personality over skills and wanted total control over employees' lives. The fact that the recruiting coordinator needed management approval to even start the interview process was a major red flag, especially for an entry-level sales role. I want to warn others to be cautious.

The whole interview process took like 2 months from start to finish, which felt pretty long. But honestly, it was a really comfortable experience, and everyone I talked to was super helpful and easy to chat with.
