The interview process was easy, informative, and constructive. I got an offer from Rexel really quickly. I would recommend the process if you want to work at Rexel. They have a lot of different jobs and opportunities.

It's about 3 or 4 steps. Quite long, but the people are very nice. You are put at ease from the start of the interview. There are 4 interviews: HR interview, the operational one to see if you can fit with the job description, interview with the N+2, and an interview with another manager to check if your behavior fits with the company.

Contacted by HR but the interview was with the manager, no HR was present. Was advised to park at the golf course car park due to no parking on site. The interview format was different from what was advised. The interview was scheduled for 1 hour but was cut short as the next attendee was waiting and I was ushered out. The manager spent most of the time talking about himself and his contributions to the company rather than the role, my duties, and my skills. I tried to steer the conversation back to what I could bring to the company, but got the impression he hadn't read my CV and was improvising due to the absence of HR. He openly admitted to being controlling. He was very negative about the salary and car situation, with no mention of the overall package, just annual wages. The offices seemed cramped and overcrowded, suggesting a lack of investment. The internal systems were very poor, relying on individual Excel spreadsheets, with no control or finance database, which the manager admitted was contributing to the company's difficulties. Overall, it was a very strange and unprofessional interview, a disappointing experience for a company with an 805 million turnover, where a higher standard would be expected. I will not be downgrading my current position.
