The process moved fast and was totally clear from the recruiter all the way to the Facility Manager. The in-person interviews laid out clear expectations for the role, what I'd be doing, and the organizational changes. I met the leadership team and made sure to send thank you notes after talking with them.

Went through a bunch of 1 on 1s with different people. Some were ready, some weren't, and didn't really know the role or who was in it, and some HR leaders too. It was about 8 interviews after the initial HR recruiter chat. It felt like people were getting called out for not being engaged or knowing about their teams, which was a bit of a worry. After the last one, no one from the hiring side followed up, which felt really unprofessional and unexpected.

After submitting my online application, it took about two months to hear back. Then I was invited to complete two online assessments: the first focused on work situations and personality, and the second was a basic mechanical aptitude test. Following that, I had a Zoom interview that included a plant tour. The process also involved a background check, which took three weeks, and a drug screen/physical, which included urine, audio, and lifting tests.
