Data Scientist
It was very nice and friendly. The team explained their projects to me and showed a lot of interest in my experience. They answered all my questions and I never felt discriminated against.
- Tell me about the Data Science projects you've worked on.
Data Scientist
Got contacted by a recruiter. There were two rounds with team leads, and for the second one, I had to prepare a presentation. Afterward, HR called about the contract. There was an option to talk to a team lead again to clarify questions. Really good experience, I was rejected only because my current contract was also very good and the switch wasn't worth it.
- Could you tell me about your experience?
Data Scientist
The conversation started friendly, but that quickly changed. The recruiter was unprofessional and seemed ill-informed. The interview atmosphere was hostile and unpleasant. I was bombarded with stress questions and barely allowed to ask any of my own. I didn't feel treated as an equal. My questions about the future position and team were unclear or not answered at all. To top it off, the recruiter only got back to me 6 weeks after the interview (instead of the promised 3). Conclusion: Never again Rewe Group.
- Questions about professional knowledge.
- Questions about supermarket topics, e.g., product interaction, offer selection, etc.
- The usual questions about yourself, motivation, goals, etc.
