Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at REVOLVE.
Product Developer
The interview process spanned about a month. It began with an initial HR recruiter call, followed by a second conversation with the same recruiter the next week. After that, I had an interview with a member of the team I would potentially join, but I ended up speaking with someone else because they were unwell. The final interview was conducted in person and was very brief, lasting less than five minutes.
- Can you describe your personal style?
Software Engineer
The HR interview was pleasant. The recruiter was friendly and helpful, and she provided a lot of information about the company. The questions felt a bit typical, but overall, I enjoyed the interview experience.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
Software Engineer
It started with a recruiter call about 20 mins long going over my background. Then there were 3 rounds of interviews. The first was a 1-hour video interview with the director of engineering. The second was also a 1-hour video interview with the director of engineering. The third was a 1-hour interview with the VP of software engineering. All three interviewers seemed really inexperienced and had poor communication skills, like they weren't even interested in interviewing. I got the feeling the company is super disorganized and badly managed. They asked questions that were like simple brain teasers and basic coding challenges done in a Google doc.
- What makes you seek a new position?
- What are the differences between ArrayList and LinkedList?
