The interview process at RevMed is fast-paced and technically rigorous. It starts with an HR screen and a 30-minute Zoom call with the hiring manager. Then, there are two 30-minute "Zoom Coffee Sessions" with team members. Even though they have an informal name, these are structured 1-on-1s to get you ready for the on-site. The on-site involves a 45-minute scientific presentation with a 15-minute Q&A. After that, there are back-to-back interviews with the team and cross-functional partners. The company really likes deep scientific debate and schedules interviews quickly. However, the post-interview experience can be a letdown. I was ghosted after the on-site, and even after following up weeks later, I never got a clear answer or response.

I initially applied for a job on LinkedIn. They didn't think I was a good fit, but the interviewer sent my resume to HR. HR then reached out to me about a Scientist role that was a six-month contract. I said I was interested and had a Zoom interview with the team, which went well. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview. I was there the whole day. I gave a 45-minute presentation and met with about eight different people one-on-one. HR told me afterwards that the team was 'really excited' about me and I'd hear back in a few days. But, after I followed up several times over the next four weeks, they kept saying they needed more time. About six weeks later, HR told me they had hired someone else.

I applied for the job after being referred by someone I know. First I spoke with the hiring manager, and then I had a casual chat with some people who would be my colleagues to see if we'd get along. After that, I was invited for a full-day interview. It began with a one-hour seminar, followed by 30-minute one-on-one meetings with people from different levels in the company, including the hiring manager. We had lunch in the interview room with a group of my potential peers. The day ended with a meeting with the HR director, who explained the next steps. Everyone was friendly and seemed really interested in my past research. Most people were pretty standard, but one person was a bit more inquisitive.
