Revature Business Analyst Interview Questions

Applied for a Business Analyst job with 40 open positions. Got contacted by Revature three times. First was an automated call that hung up. Second time, spoke to two people. The first wanted to talk about an entry-level software engineer role, even though my resume says Business Management major. I told her I wasn't qualified for that and wanted to discuss the Business Analyst role. She transferred me to a 'career coach.' I repeated I wasn't interested in the software engineer role and asked for the job description, which she emailed. I replied to the email, attaching the LinkedIn job posting to clarify I wanted the Business Analyst position. A few hours later, another recruiter texted about the software engineer position. I texted back saying I wasn't interested in that role but wanted to discuss the Business Analyst job. Got an automated response, so I called the number. The person I spoke to was rude and immediately brought up the software engineer role. I explained again I didn't apply for it, wasn't qualified, and wanted to discuss the Business Analyst job. She tried to end the conversation. I had enough and told her not to contact me again. The Business Analyst position never seemed to exist, as the LinkedIn posting was only a few hours old. Revature seems like a marketing company, all hype and no substance, like door-to-door sales.

I had an initial phone screening with the recruiter then a video interview. The video interview was not the trainer so it was actually kind of awkward, I found out later that the trainer watched how you answered the questions after the initial recorded interview took place. The whole process was over the phone and online. I never met an actual person.

It was a pretty simple process. There were a couple of screening rounds, starting with a phone interview, and then an in-person interview. They didn't ask a lot of technical questions; they mainly wanted to gauge my thought process and assess my overall capability.
