First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Restore Hyper Wellness.
Esthetician
The interview process was super easy. They asked about my hands-on esthetician experience and my sales background. I met with the store manager and then the regional manager. I think they should have at least asked for a hands-on practical.
- Can you explain how your hourly and commission pay works?
- What are the benefits you offer?
Wellness Representative
Standard interview process with store manager and then owner of store. Owner of store definitely had an ego. Follow up was initially positive then never received any update after 2nd interview, even after I emailed them twice. Completely ghosted me. The fact they didn’t have a minute to call or email me that I didn’t get the job was very unprofessional and a little insulting. Completely ruined how I view their company.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Do you feel you thrive in a fast-paced environment?
- Are you comfortable working with teams?
Director
The interview process included an initial phone call, a second phone call, and a final on-site interview. Travel expenses were not covered. All interviews ran over their scheduled times, and it seemed the interviewers weren't sure what to ask. The expectations for the candidate didn't align with the job description, and they seemed to misunderstand the difference between ability and experience. There was a feeling they were seeking an exceptional candidate at a significantly below-market salary. They didn't follow up after the final candidate interview. For a Director role reporting directly to the COO, they didn't even bother to call back with a rejection after 3 weeks. When I followed up to compare offers, the response was 'we'll get back to you,' followed by a generic email.
- Can you describe your background in the XYZ field/category?
Graphic Designer
I was up for a senior graphic design role at their HQ in Austin, TX. My third interview was supposed to be one-on-one with three different people. But, out of the blue, they decided to combine two of those meetings. So I ended up just sitting there for half an hour, which felt pretty disrespectful of my time. They said they'd let me know in a week, but it's been over three weeks and still no word. I even sent a thank-you note, but nothing. It's super frustrating to be left hanging like this, especially after putting in so much effort. Really makes you wonder about their company culture.
- Can you share your background and experience in design?
