Software Engineer
The interview started with a frontend technical screen where the interviewer asked detailed questions about immutability, variable scopes, the event loop, promises, and how React detects changes. Other rounds were quite straightforward. However, the compensation offered was significantly lower than expected for someone with 5 years of experience at a product-based company. Despite initial agreement on my desired package, HR later revised the maximum offer to 10 LPA, which is very low. While the role might offer good work-life balance for those living nearby, it's not financially attractive.

Software Developer
I went through a 3-stage interview process for a Java Full Stack Developer position in August 2025. It started with an online coding challenge, followed by a technical interview covering Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and React. The final stage was an HR conversation. The interviewers were professional, asking both scenario-based and coding questions. The overall difficulty felt moderate. My advice for future candidates is to brush up on core Java, Spring Boot, REST API design, basic React, and SQL joins. I received feedback about a week later.
- Questions on basic object-oriented programming concepts, Spring Boot, and microservices were asked, along with some coding tasks.
