Teacher
The interview was with 4 people: the director, assistant director, and two other teachers. It lasted about 15 minutes and they asked 10 questions. Then I had to do a STAAR based lesson demonstration.
- What are your thoughts on school culture and how important is teamwork in a school setting?
Teacher
The interview process seemed good at first, and the interview staff were very nice. However, after being hired, I realized the company was chaotic and disorganized. The administration didn't seem to be in control of their new hires and the constantly changing environment. New teachers were left to figure things out on their own. The training was only 3 days in Lewisville, Tx, and it raised more fears and concerns instead of answering simple questions that would have reassured new employees about starting their journey with the company.
- How would you manage the diverse requirements and scenarios in online or remote teaching?
Teacher
I had asked them not to contact my current employer, but it seems like the director already did, based on what he asked me. The interview concluded with a lesson demonstration, which he said he'd schedule later. I reached out to set it up, but never heard back.
- What are your weaknesses?
