Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Resorts World Sentosa.
Marketing
I had an online interview that was about 45 minutes long. This was after I submitted a case study. I haven't heard anything back since, even after reaching out to the TA. They didn't even acknowledge my follow-ups. It was an okay experience overall.
- What are your colleagues' perceptions of you?
Marketing
This interview was very short, only 30 minutes, and felt more like an interrogation. The interviewer didn't seem interested in getting to know me and didn't explain the role well. She also wasn't clear when asking questions, which felt overly specific and suggested I was expected to have done a lot of research on the company and its challenges beforehand. The whole vibe felt like a red flag, and I wouldn't want to join the team even if offered the job.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What draws you to RWS and what are your goals for this position?
- Could you share what research you've conducted on RWS before this interview?
Marketing Executive
It felt more like an interrogation than a real chat. The person interviewing me, who'd be my direct boss, made the job sound really demanding with high expectations.
- Can you explain why you had a 6-month gap in your career?
