Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Resolver.
Software Engineer
A recruiter reached out, and then I did a technical take-home assessment that was pretty easy and quick. The in-person interview, though, wasn't great. They called it a casual chat about tech, but it was more like a trivia test with super specific questions about tech details you might not even use often. The interviewers seemed tired and distant, giving off a vibe they weren't into their jobs. Plus, the way they described the work sounded really dull and automated, which made sense.

Software Developer
The interview process was pretty good and clear. The recruiter made sure we were on the same page. I got to find out a lot about the team, the company culture, and more to get me ready for the job.
- Tell me about Node internals.
- Tell me about Postgres internals.
- What are some database optimization techniques?
Software Engineer
It was a typical process for this field. There were three parts: first, I had a chat with the recruiter to screen me, then there was a coding test, and finally, an interview. I didn't make it past the initial recruiter screening.
