Sales Development Representative
The interview process was pretty straightforward. First, there was a behavioral interview with HR. Then, I had a short mock cold call with the hiring manager. They were quick to respond and gave updates every 2-3 days.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your motivation for wanting to work here?
- Please perform a mock cold call.
Sales Development Representative
I chatted with the recruiter on the phone in mid-August. They mentioned they were looking to hire someone for the end of September, which I was fine with. Then, we did a case study that took about 40-50 minutes and was focused on spelling and grammar. After that, a mock sales call was set up, which I worked hard to prepare for and did well in. I didn't hear back for about a week, and when I followed up, they told me they were actually aiming to hire someone for November. It was pretty unprofessional and felt like they didn't respect my time. They didn't offer me anything, but they did ask if I was willing to wait. I mean, I'm really qualified and I have bills to pay, so it's a tough ask.
- Why are you a good fit for this position?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was fast, starting with a phone screen, then a case study, followed by mock calls, and finally an in-office interview which had 3 rounds. It all happened within 2 weeks. You should listen to the reviews, there's a lot of turnover. The head of sales had been there for half a year and couldn't answer any questions, and I never heard back from the Hiring Manager after the final interview. I'd avoid this place!
- What are typical sales questions, and how do you handle rejection?
