The process was lengthy due to demo lessons and the numerous interviewers involved. I interviewed with the principal, assistant principal, talent director, and my content coach. Overall, it was a smooth process.

First, there was a phone chat with the person who handles diversity and hiring. They asked if I was really into teaching kids of color. Then, I had a face-to-face meeting. I had to do a practice lesson, and the supervisor gave me pointers, so I redid it. After that, we role-played a bunch of different ways a teacher might talk to parents. Finally, the principal I'd report to offered me the job. The official letter came by email a few days later.

This was a terrible and unprofessional interview experience. I was initially given a deadline for an offer notification, which was then extended by two weeks, and I never heard back from them after that. It seems like on paper they aim to be helpful and provide opportunities, but based on reviews and my own experience, that's not the case.
