Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Repsol.
Analyst
The process usually starts with an online application where your profile and CV are evaluated. If you fit the profile, you'll get a call to talk more about your professional experience and motivation. Next, you'll go through technical and psychometric tests, plus practical exercises related to analysis and problem-solving. In some cases, there's a group exercise to check collaboration skills. Then, the interview phase includes one or more competency and technical interviews with the hiring team, either in person or remote.
- Why are you interested in Repsol specifically?

The interview process felt like a formality, as if they had already chosen someone. HR was mainly focused on getting my salary expectations. Ultimately, I never received a decision and was ghosted.
- Can you list the software you're familiar with?
- Could you give me an overview of yourself?
Analyst
I spoke with the Head of Recruitment, then with Transversal Management, and finally with the Senior Manager of P&O. The whole process was very dynamic and wrapped up in just 2 weeks.
