Data Scientist
- What was your favorite subject in university?
Data Science Intern
They reached out to me first, complimenting my LinkedIn profile and all the extracurricular activities I've done during university. The interview started off really well, and they seemed convinced. Then we got to talking about my degree score, and as soon as they found out I didn't get a perfect score (I got 98) in my Computer Engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano, they immediately said my profile wasn't a good fit because they "only look for the best to provide to their partners." I pointed out that they were the ones who contacted me due to my extracurriculars, and that's how the interview ended.
- Qual era il tuo voto di laurea?
Data Scientist Intern
I was contacted on LinkedIn by a Data Scientist for a position in Milan. I went directly to the technical interview, at the end of which we discussed possible projects I could work on for my thesis. After a few weeks, probably due to holidays it took longer, they informed me that they were looking for a profile with more university experience (I am a master's student who has just finished the first year).
