Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rentokil Initial.
Marketing Executive
It wasn't a great experience. The interviewers seemed more interested in what I could bring to the table. While it's typical for an interviewer to greet you, I felt ignored, with the interviewer focusing more on HR. The overall atmosphere was off, and it's a major red flag that the position demands you handle numerous marketing responsibilities solo with little help and low pay. They operate like a startup even though they're an MNC, which aligns with other feedback about low salaries.
- Can you rank your marketing skills across various areas?
Digital Marketing Executive
It was super easy and simple. They asked me to introduce myself, talk about my experience, and mention my skills. The interviewer was really nice and friendly. The interview went by fast and was not difficult. At the end, I had to complete an assessment.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your skills?
Digital Marketing Executive
Had an initial quick chat with a recruiter to see if I was interested and learn a bit about my background. Then a phone interview where we went into more detail about my experience and skills. Lastly, a face-to-face panel interview where I introduced myself and my skills, and they told me more about the role, the team, and how things work. I also did a task and answered some questions based on competencies.
- How would you handle a customer complaint received on social media?
