Interview was quick and on-boarding procedures was clearly explained. Questions asked dealt with personal and business inquiries to clearly assess the needs of the company as overtime is mandatory. An unpaid evaluation period is requested, as it shows the type of work that is performed and hopefully understood, but is not clear to those who they expect to understand, as a waiting customer could obviously see.

I met with the store manager for one interview. We discussed my past work history with previous employers. He then asked me some basic questions, like how I would handle an unhappy customer. After that, I was hired.

Had a standard interview with the district manager. They asked the usual interview questions and then went over all the responsibilities of the role. It wasn't too difficult to get through. A lot of the interview was spent discussing the job itself, making it sound pretty manageable. Knowing how most stores are short-staffed, it makes sense now.
