Claims Adjuster
Got referred by a current employee. Got an invite to take a class and get certified in Xactimate and insurance policy. After getting certified, I got a chance to deploy for a temp assignment. The hiring process takes a while. They do background checks, and you need the proper state licensing before they can hire you. Classroom work and certifications are also required before they'll offer you the job. It's a professional career with many steps before you get an assignment. The whole thing takes some time.

- Answer questions and perform functions that would resemble real life adjusting challenges.

I had to call in for a State Farm Seminar to get certified. After I got certified, I started my employment. Deployment began when a storm occurred. I was placed on standby for 24 hours before being sent out to inspect auto and property.
- Would you be open to traveling and being deployed for over a year?
Claims Adjuster
The interview process was pretty good and straightforward. I was impressed with how it was handled. Depending on the position, experience really makes a difference. I didn't feel any pressure to accept an offer.
