First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Renewal by Andersen.
Sales Consultant
This was a pretty laid-back interview. Started with some basic questions, then moved into a few scenario-based ones. They asked about my biggest sale, my toughest challenge, a presentation that didn't go well, a great team experience, and my future aspirations. Definitely no high-pressure tactics, just an easy conversation.
- How many years have you worked in in-home sales?
- Can you tell me about the largest sale you've ever made?
- What has been your biggest challenge?
Sales Consultant
I talked to a recruiter who was super nice and they said they'd pass my info to the hiring manager. But then I got rejected, even with my 10+ years in sales and customer service experience. It's a bummer to be qualified, get turned down, and then see the same job posted again a few days later. Makes you wonder if they even want qualified people.
- Can you tell me about a time you successfully handled an objection?
Sales Consultant
I put my application in online. A recruiter called me two days later to set up a phone interview. After that, I had to do an online sales assessment. Then, I got scheduled for an in-person interview. I got to the location a bit early and someone friendly at the showroom greeted me. I didn't wait long before the manager came and took me to the office area. I met with two managers for about 90 minutes, and they asked me various questions. They thanked me for my time and I was shown the door. They said I'd hear back within 3 days. I got a job offer call two days later.
- Can you describe your past sales experience and share your sales results?
