Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Renewal by Andersen.
Design Consultant
The interview was pretty easy going, they talked about having a good work life balance and the chance to earn a lot. The person interviewing me was nice and it felt like a casual conversation.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experiences and the reasons for leaving?
- What are your expectations for working here?
Design Consultant
I had a phone interview, then a zoom call, and finally an in-person interview. They asked standard questions like 'tell me about yourself' and about my sales process experience. There were also some quick math problems, like calculating 10% of 348.48 by just moving the decimal. They also asked a driving distance question: 60mph for an hour is 60 miles. The interviewer was aggressive, but I was told by another trainer that this is a corporate directive to be aggressive during interviews, so I just stayed confident.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Do you have prior experience in sales?
- Have you worked with a defined sales process before?
Design Consultant
It was a relaxed conversation where they talked about what the job entailed. They also went over the training process and how the pay and commission worked. They asked if my car was reliable because I'd be using it to go to appointments.
- Would you be alright with visiting homeowners at their houses?
