Call Center Representative
We had a straightforward in-person interview at the location. Business professional attire was expected, and I recall being asked about different scenarios. It was a very easy-going interview, and I felt at ease during the whole thing.
- What is your understanding of our company?
Customer Service Representative
I was contacted by a recruiter who set up an interview. When I got there, the interviewer thought the interview was the next day and wasn't there. She eventually arrived and called me the wrong name. The questioning was really hostile. She kept telling me what my previous jobs were and that I couldn't handle stress. When I started talking about my previous job, she interrupted and snapped, saying this isn't that place. She and another interviewer who joined later questioned if I was ready for in-person work and basically demanded I say I'd prefer remote if possible, which was weird. I knew I didn't get the job and didn't want it anymore. They then ghosted me.
- Do you prefer working from home or in the office?
Call Center Representative
You'll interview with a supervisor and maybe a manager. They'll ask about your customer service and call center background. There's a computer test to check your personality. It's important to talk about your past customer service work and any selling/up-selling you've done. If you can show you can handle the call center vibe, being on the phone a lot, speaking professionally, and have a good voice, you'll get the job. Speaking another language and being flexible with hours really helps. You need to be aggressive but patient. Training is paid, but you have to memorize a script and sound natural, or you won't be hired.
- Can you tell me how many years you've worked in a call center?
- Could you elaborate on your past experience in customer service?
- What's your experience like in a call center environment?
