The recruitment process for the Account Executive role was quite disappointing. After finishing an assignment, I was told I was in the top 12% of applicants. Then I was invited to schedule an interview with a manager and attend a seminar, which I did. I also spent a lot of time preparing and researching the company. But the interview was canceled the next day without any feedback or reason. I know hiring can be competitive and plans change, but canceling interviews after candidates have passed multiple stages and put in more effort felt unprofessional and like they didn't value our time. I think the company could do better by communicating more clearly and respecting applicants' time and commitment.

Behavioral Technical

I applied on Indeed and got a link for a personality test pretty quickly. It asked about traits I think are expected at work and traits I actually have. After submitting, I got a scripted voicemail about being chosen out of a third of applicants and to call back for an interview. Then I got a text from a different number. I texted back asking for available times and was asked if 'today at 4 pm?' worked. No confirmation, so I texted and called again to check. I got a call around 3:56 from the same number for a super awkward, scripted call. I was asked if I knew what they do and about my sales experience, and then told the hiring manager might reach out Monday. Never heard back and no one replied to my follow-up questions. I wouldn't waste my time with them now.

First I had a chat with the recruiter. Then I interviewed with my supervisor. After that, the recruiter checked in with me. Finally, I interviewed with the head of sales. The recruiter was super helpful throughout. The process was very demo-based and I learned there are specific phrases I needed to say.
