First there was a phone call with the recruiter, then a video conference with the same recruiter. After that, I interviewed with the VP of sales, which was a more high-level discussion. The final stage was a presentation I had to give at the office.

You'll have a couple of interviews with a recruiter. The first one is more of a "get to know you." Make sure you research the company and ask the recruiter for feedback. The second one with the recruiter is more of a traditional interview where they'll ask questions about your resume. The third interview will be with people who are currently in the role you're going for. Have in-depth answers to their questions, backed by relatable experiences and data points. The fourth and final interview will be with a couple of managers for the role. You'll do a 10-15 minute presentation, followed by questions about you, your experiences, and your role expectations. The recruiter will share notes from the previous interviews, so the next interview might be tailored to the feedback and your answers to earlier questions. Pay attention to those questions and your responses. Ask questions after every interview, whether it's about the company, the role, the process, daily tasks, or professional development. Each interview is about an hour long.

The interview process was okay, though I've heard it's a bit different for others. It went on for about six weeks, and I only got positive feedback throughout. Then, after the final in-person interview with the VPs, I was told I wasn't confident enough and seemed too nervous. Since I'm in my 20s and this is my first full-time job after college, yeah, I was nervous. It felt like a letdown after all the work I put in.
