Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Reinsurance Group of America.
Analyst
The interview process was quick and easy. They kept me updated, and I'd recommend them. It included a panel interview with three interviewers, then another interview, and finally, they extended an offer.
- Can you tell me about one of your strengths?
Analyst
I went to the office to meet with the VP and Chief in person. My interview with the hiring manager went well over Zoom. However, the second round was quite different. I thought there wouldn't be any technical questions since the hiring manager had already asked me all of them. They seemed to be expecting a specific answer, and I couldn't meet their expectations.
- Did you have any coding or logical questions asked?
Pricing Analyst
The interview experience was really bad. They were upfront about not having the resources to supervise an intern and mentioned the work might be boring and repetitive, which was pretty discouraging. To top it off, one interviewer chuckled when I shared my advanced Excel skills. It felt unprofessional.
- Can you explain the Endowment Formula?
- What does reserve mean?
