Recruiter reached out because of a referral. Had to reschedule 4 times, and even twice on the day of the interview. 3 months after the final round, there was no response at all from the recruiter, even after several follow-ups. My advice is to not waste candidates' time and effort if you can't even respond after the final round.

I got a call from HR asking about my motivation for REI, my background, and my BA experience. About a week later, there was an hour-long phone interview. Two weeks after that, I had a 1:1 meeting. I'm waiting to hear back about the final results and if there will be another round. The interview process was fun, mostly in the form of an exercise. I enjoyed interviewing with REI Systems. It wasn't easy, but I definitely learned a lot.

The initial phone interview was about 40 minutes long and covered basic questions. I had some difficulty understanding the interviewer and had to ask for repeats or guess at the questions. Later that day, I was contacted to set up a face-to-face interview. This was supposed to involve three separate interviews: technical, behavioral, and with the manager. The building itself was pretty run-down. The technical interview lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes with someone considered very technical. There was another communication barrier with this interviewer, who wasn't a native English speaker. She mentioned a few times that my answers weren't related to her questions, so I started repeating her questions back before answering to ensure I was on the right track, even though I could tell it was bothering her. After waiting 30 minutes, the next interviewer showed up for the behavioral questions. This interviewer was Indian too, but I could understand them fine. Unfortunately, I never got to meet with the manager. The recruiter said they would call to reschedule or perhaps do a phone interview instead. The next day, the recruiter called to say that the technical interviewer didn't think I was a good fit, feeling I lacked the necessary skills. Honestly, I found it amusing. I've since accepted another job and am very happy. REI Systems really needs to rethink its hiring process, especially concerning diversity.
