Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Regus.
Community Manager
The interview went well and felt professional. The questions asked were relevant and clear. However, the company didn't follow up as promised and I haven't heard back. My attempts to contact them were unsuccessful, and it seems like my number was blocked. This lack of communication leaves a bad impression even though the interview itself was good. So, while the interview was fine, the poor follow-up makes it hard to recommend this company as a place to work.
- Tell me about a time you solved a problem or worked as part of a team in a previous job.
Community Manager
It was a long process with a lot of steps, run by an outside company. It started with a 20-minute phone chat about my background. Then another 20-minute phone call with more specific questions about my skills. After that, I had a 1-hour conference call where I had to do some number and word tests. The next step was another conference call, this time with a roleplay to see how I'd react to typical job situations. The fifth step was supposed to be a face-to-face interview with the Regus Recruitment team. After more than a month, Regus just cancelled the job opening right before the in-person interview, which was really annoying and unprofessional.
- Could you describe your general experience and qualifications?
- Can you elaborate on your specific competencies?
- Please complete these numerical and linguistic assessments.
Community Manager
I interviewed for a community associate position and they asked me to interview for a community manager role instead. It started with their usual online video interviews, then a phone interview, and then I was invited for an in-person interview. The experience was great, I had a good conversation and felt comfortable.
- Be yourself.
- Be prepared.
- Dress for the part you want.
