- Tell me about a past workplace issue you encountered and how you resolved it.
Client Service Representative
First, I checked in with the receptionist and had to complete some forms. Then, the interviewer came and took me to a room. She asked me a bunch of scripted questions about times I provided great customer service or dealt with an upset customer. She also asked me what I knew about the company and why I was interested in the role. It was a bit confusing because when she first told me about the job over the phone, she said it was full-time, but then during the interview, she mentioned it was actually part-time.
- Can you share an instance where you managed an angry customer? Describe your approach and the result.
- Describe a situation where you provided outstanding customer service.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult or unhappy customer.
Client Service Representative
First, there was a phone interview, then a face-to-face meeting with the General Manager that lasted about 20 minutes. She asked me a bunch of questions about my background, what I'm good at and not so good at. They also wanted to know about my customer service background and if I'm comfortable trying to sell more services. After the interview, I got a tour of the place and met some team members, and they invited me back for another interview. The last interview was supposed to be with the Area Director in person, but it ended up being a call instead. She asked a lot of the same questions as before, but dug a little deeper.
- If you're covering the front desk and a guest arrives to check in, a call comes in, and a courier needs a signature for package delivery, what is your course of action?
