Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Regis Corporation.
Regional Manager
Found the job on the company website and applied online, also submitted info for a background check. Then had phone interviews with the HR manager and the regional VP. Took a few weeks overall.
- Can you tell me about a time you had to be honest?
District Manager
The interview process was fast and efficient. The interviewer was very professional and seemed genuinely interested in investing in their teams, which made me feel comfortable and eager to work for Regis. They were very clear about the company's direction and provided informative details about the benefits of working there, answering all my questions.
- Can you describe your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
Regional Director
I had a Zoom interview with the recruiter and HR, and they both said I was exactly what they were looking for. The VP interview was a different experience. He couldn't answer basic questions about benefits or operations. He even tried to convince me that a local salon with no customers makes a million dollars and that stylists earn six figures, which online research showed to be false. Given the experience and online reviews, I'm glad I didn't get the job.
- Have you ever recruited individuals from our company?
