Behavioral

I applied for the Assistant Manager role about a month ago and was quickly invited to interview with the GM. We had a good conversation, and I identified some significant issues with how things were being run and how staff were treated. I was excited to help fix these problems and had a detailed plan ready after studying the theater's issues for a month. The GM offered me the job over the phone, which was great. However, getting everything finalized took a long time. Every week, I had to chase them because they had trouble contacting my references, even though my references said they hadn't been contacted. After waiting over a month, I got a rejection email saying they went with someone else. I tried to reach out to the manager, but they didn't respond. I'm very disappointed because I put a lot of time and effort into this, and I really thought I had the job. This whole thing has been a frustrating experience, and the poor communication made it worse.

Behavioral Group

I applied online and then interviewed at a job fair hiring event. I went through 4 rounds of interviews at different tables, starting with an associate manager from another theater and ending with the district manager. They all asked about my management style. Since they were hiring for all positions for a new theater, I had to wait for upper-level interviewers to be free, but the whole thing only took about an hour and a half. I got a job offer by the end of the day!

Behavioral Case Technical

It was a face-to-face interview. They asked some basic questions, and then we did a role-play to see how we'd close a sale. There was also a technical quiz with about 10 questions, like asking what a coax cable is.
