The first stage was pretty straightforward, they just wanted to know about my past work experience and when I could start if I got the job. They also asked if I was willing to move for the position and what my salary expectations were. On top of that, they inquired about my visa status and wanted me to explain my motivation for applying and confirm my understanding of the role based on the description.

I had a phone screen, then another phone interview, and finally a panel interview. They said I'd hear back within a week after the in-person, but I never did. I tried following up a few times and got no response. It was a bummer because everyone I met was really nice, so I wasn't expecting it to end so unprofessionally.

I chatted with the two Paralegals on the team and the Head Partner. We talked about my experience so far, the team (who they are, what they do, their clients and the team vibe), what they're looking for in a candidate, and what I'd bring to the table if I got the job. They also asked about my hobbies and mentioned they have programs and groups related to my interests. They were super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. I got the job offer the next day.
