I first filled out an application form that had three questions about commercial law, Reed Smith, and current legal industry issues. After they passed my initial application, I got a link to do a video interview. For the video interview, I had to answer timed questions, and I was given some time beforehand to prepare my answers. After I finished the video interview, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward with my application this time.

Started with a phone screening, then I emailed them. Soon after, I got some interview times. Interviewed with two senior associates who handle staff attorney cases, then a one-on-one with another senior associate. Only had to go to the office once, no more callbacks.

It was a fair process, really designed to see if I had what it takes. They wanted to check my skills, my personality, and my smarts. They spread it out over a few stages so I could meet different people and keep things moving. The whole thing was run super professionally. Honestly, I can't complain about any part of it.
