First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Redscout.
Client Services Manager
Started with a chat with the Head of HR, then had 3 more interviews with people from CS, design, and strategy. Wrapped it up with a case study presentation to the team. Overall, it was a really good interview process!
- Develop a solutions deck based on a given prompt and present it to the team, followed by a Q&A session.
- Respond to a specific email scenario.
- Handle a particular situation.
Designer
The interview process was structured and went smoothly. I made it to the final round, but unfortunately didn't receive an offer. However, the team was wonderful – very respectful and passionate about their work. The hiring manager kept in touch with me throughout and even gave me some tips on how to prepare for the last interview.
- What are three words your coworkers would use to describe you?
Strategist
The interview process involved multiple rounds of meeting with the team, and culminated in a case study in the final round. I think there were five rounds in total. Ultimately, I wasn't selected for the role. It seems like they put hiring on hold and then resumed it several months later, suggesting they might not have been entirely clear on what they were seeking, which is pretty standard for agency interviews!
- Given several made-up brand scenarios, I selected one to develop a case study and presentation for, which I then delivered to the team.
Client Services Director
I went through a few rounds of interviews, which took about 3-4 weeks to complete. The last interview involved a presentation I had to prepare beforehand. It was about handling 3 hypothetical scenarios.
- Suppose we just landed a big fashion client through a referral for a 3-month project. As Client Services Director, with no prior experience with this client, how would you kick off and manage the relationship to ensure the project's success and potentially secure future business? What would be your initial steps upon meeting the client to build rapport, understand their needs, and set up a good working relationship? Also, what internal systems or practices would you implement to manage the project effectively?
- What internal tools, systems, or best practices would you put in place to ensure the project is properly managed and set up for success?
