First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Redlands Community Hospital.
Registered Nurse
It was a 3-person panel interview where I met with 2 managers and a nurse educator. The environment was mostly relaxed and lasted about 30 minutes. They had a paper with common interview questions and went back and forth asking questions from there, then asked additional questions if they wanted me to clarify or elaborate.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What previous job experience do you have that relates to this position?
Respiratory Therapist
The interview process started with a recruiter call and then a team interview. They also mentioned that DE&I is important and that the role is based on the values and mission statement. The staff is described as small and friendly. There was a 1-on-1 with the director, and I also met with the ICU nurses.
- Can you share an instance where you had to pivot and pursue a different course of action?
Claims Adjudicator
I applied for the job online and a few days later got a call to set up an interview. The interview was supposed to be with 3 people: the head of managed care, the manager, and the supervisor. The manager and supervisor started the interview without the head since they were running late. I had to wait about 10-15 minutes. The head of the department eventually joined at the end and mostly asked about handling workplace conflicts.
- Did you ever try to get a manager fired?
IT Specialist
It was an easy conversation and a quick process. I enjoyed chatting to the manager and describing my experience. They gave me a chance when I got out the military and had no civilian experience.
- What was your length of service in the military?
