Account Manager
The recruiter set up a screening call which went really well, so they scheduled a follow-up with the hiring manager. After the second round, they totally ghosted me and didn't respond to my follow-up emails, even after connecting on LinkedIn. It's frustrating not to even get a rejection email so I can move on to other opportunities.
- Could you walk me through a case study?
- What are your thoughts on compensation?
- Describe your experience as a team player.
Account Manager
The process was disjointed. They reached out to me for an interview. The first call went well, but then a secondary call was postponed due to scheduling issues on their end. Once it was finally scheduled, halfway through the interview, I was told they needed to reschedule again. I agreed, understanding that situations arise. After scheduling the interview again, it was rescheduled once more, and then on the day of, I got an email saying they were canceling and the role had already been filled. It felt like they were understaffed and unorganized.
- Describe your approach to account mapping and planning.
- What is your knowledge of Redis?
Technical Account Manager
The interview experience included a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a technical challenge, and concluded with on-site interviews with the VP of Customer Success, Director of Sales, and Head of HR. The process was very well-organized and transparent; the recruiter kept me informed of each step and set clear expectations. During the on-site interviews, the employees were very friendly, and there were no trick questions. Conversations with the executives went smoothly. Although I did not receive an offer, I found the interview experience to be valuable. The recruiter provided a helpful call to explain the reason for the rejection, which is uncommon and reflects well on the company culture.
- Could you discuss your experience as reflected on your resume?
- What motivates your interest in working for Reids?
- Can you share some questions regarding your personality?
