Digital Marketing Analyst
The interview process has three stages: first, a 30-minute phone screen with behavioral and basic questions like 'tell me about yourself'. Second, a case study where you're given material to study, focusing on multiplication and percentage change mental math. Third, a 'Super day' with one behavioral interview, two individual case studies, and one team-based case study using Excel. It was a good experience, and the interviewers were relaxed, but feedback would be helpful. For the phone screen, use the STAR method for behavioral questions and ask about the company's strategies. For the case study, practice mental math and say your thought process out loud. Be ready for digital marketing terms and strategies. The Super Day cases are similar to the previous one. Behavioral questions will be hypothetical, so prepare using the RAPID method. For the Excel team case study, study marketing terms, tactics, and strategies, and be ready to give a sales pitch. Show curiosity about the interviewer's journey. They seem to be assessing cultural fit and how well you vibe with others.
- Can you outline how you would start your own business, including its business model and target market?
- If presented with two acquisition opportunities, one a risky but high-growth startup requiring 50% of your savings, and the other a stable but capital-intensive established company needing all your savings plus loans, which would you choose and why?
- How would you address a situation where a long-term employee is causing your company to fail?

I had about 7 interviews spread across 4-5 separate sessions. It started and ended with some casual chats to get acquainted. Then, there were 2 SEO case studies, a group Excel case study, and an impromptu session where I had to brainstorm building a business, including what to sell and the company name. They gave me the case studies beforehand, so I had time to prep. Just a heads-up, practice your mental math and percentages. The whole thing took me 2 months and felt like a lot of interviews, but everyone was really nice and encouraging.
- Outside of work, what are you passionate about? And how could you make that into a business?
- What are you passionate about outside of work and how would you turn that into a business?

It was a pretty long process with several interview stages. We started with a couple of phone calls, and then the final stage was this really long Zoom meeting that lasted about 5 hours. It was actually a series of 5 or 6 different one-on-one interviews, starting with some behavioral questions and then finishing up with a case study. It felt like they were testing my ability to handle stress and keep going more than anything.
- Regarding behavioral questions, could you discuss the pros and cons of holding a small stake in a big company versus a large stake in a small company?
