I was first rejected from the company and they reached out again saying that they are interested as they made changes in immigration policy. I passed the case study round, but suddenly got a rejection email as I needed authorization to work, and they didn't want to "risk denial in the future." It was confusing how the company went back and forth with their policy. First, they rejected me and then reached out again saying they are interested in interviewing. Then, after spending hours on the interview process, they switched back. I believe that the recruitment team needs to respect everyone's time and confirm all admin details BEFORE providing a case study.

I interviewed with Red Ventures while I was still in college, even though I didn't live near Charlotte. The whole process took about 3 weeks. First, I had 3 phone interviews: one with a senior recruiter, then a VP, and finally the CMO. After that, they invited me to come to Charlotte for an on-site interview. Red Ventures was nice enough to fly me in the day before and cover my hotel stay, which was way better than other companies that tried to save money by booking super early or late flights. My on-site interview started at 8:30 AM and lasted until about 4 PM. The day included 7 formal interviews with different people, including marketing managers, business directors, and even the CEO. I also had lunch with a group of analysts, managers, and developers from the team I'd be joining. The interviews covered typical behavioral questions, technical knowledge about marketing, and some consulting-style case/analytical questions. I was surprised by how many of those case questions I got, even more than at actual consulting firms. They weren't just looking at my answers, but also seeing if I'd fit into the company. It was a really intense day, but honestly, it was the most organized and helpful interview process I'd gone through. It really let me show what I was good at and also get a feel for the company culture.

I had 1-on-1s with two people for 30 minutes each on my first interview day. One interviewer seemed unsure of the role I was applying for. The next day, they set up more interviews and a "mini case project" for the following week. On the second interview day, I had 1-on-1s with three employees. They all asked company-specific, real-world questions, including math and word problems. Be ready for math without aids. Then, I got a laptop with an Excel sheet and had 45 minutes to analyze data and prepare a presentation for a group. I was at their office for over 4 hours that day without lunch. Definitely the most memorable interview ever... and not in a good way.
