First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Recruit Express.
Intern
There were two interview rounds. The first was an on-site interview with HR, which was a friendly chat asking general questions. The second round was an online interview with the direct leader in Singapore, focusing more on the job and relevant work experience.
- Headhunting is a job with a strong sales nature, are you able to handle it?
Intern
Started with a general chat to get to know each other and talk about the company. Then there was a personality quiz. It finished with another lady who seemed a bit odd. She asked questions my friend didn't get, and veered into unrelated topics, which felt unprofessional.
- Can you describe your personality?
- What personal information can you share?
- What is the relevance of my grades to this?
Intern
After I applied, I had to set up an in-person interview for sometime that week. It felt like a long process because I talked to 4 different people: my potential mentor, the team lead, HR, and a director. Mostly, I just talked about myself and why I wanted to join the company. I also had to do some tests for attitude, personality, and different scenarios. My direct mentor had a more personal chat with me, sharing their own experiences and what they expected, which really helped me decide to take the job. All in all, the interviews were really nice and I learned a lot.
